Reflecting the tumultuous politics of the early รข€™70s in India, Deewar tells the story of a pair of impoverished brothers who, after their household is betrayed by way of the lost idealism of their father, struggle to live to tell the tale on the streets of Mumbai. They head for a showdown when one turns into a policeman, and the different turns into a criminal.
