Cidade de Deus is a shantytown that commenced during the Nineteen Sixties and turned one of Rio de Janeiro’s maximum dangerous puts in the starting of the 1980s. To inform the tale of this place, the film describes the life of varied characters, all seen through the aspect of view of the narrator, Buscapé. Buscapé was raised in a very violent environment. Despite the feeling that all odds were against him, he unearths out that life can be seen with different eyes: The eyes of an artist. By accident, he becomes a professional photographer, gaining his freedom.
