The tale of an old Jewish widow named Daisy Werthan and her relationship with her coloured chauffeur Hoke. From an initial mere paintings relationship grew in 25 years a robust friendship among the very different characters in a time when these sorts of relationships where avoided upon. Oscar profitable tragic comedy with a star-studded forged and primarily based on a play of the same title by way of Alfred Uhry.
